Paula Vergara lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and returned to writing in 2025 after a career in software engineering. She holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has worked for several years in technology, a field that continues to inspire her fascination with the boundaries between memory, consciousness, and code.

Paula is the author of The Continuity Series, a speculative saga that blends science fiction, psychological realism, and gothic undertones to explore identity, faith, and the cost of human continuity in a world where memory itself has become a weapon. Book 1: Mnemosyne is currently seeking publication, while Book 2: Hummingbird is in development.

She completed the Creative Writing Certificate at Full Sail University, where she refined her craft and developed her distinctive narrative voice — lyrical, immersive, and emotionally charged.
